Today was my first track workout in 2 weeks!
2x 300-200-100 3mins rest between the 3 and 2 and then 2 mins rest between the 2 and 1. 300 around 45 200 around 28 and 100 75%.
During warm-up I felt how out of shape I was.
First 300 @ 43.5 a little too fast, and I felt it on the 200 running a 29.9 then was the 100.
During my ful recovery I jogged a little to try and get the lactic acid out.
Second 300 @ 45.5, 200 @ 29.1 then 100. During that last 100 I started to feel the cramping coming.
Even though I struggled through the workout I still finished and with good times. I Still have a lot of work to do to get in shape to run good times again. But then again this is supposed to be my summer vacation, pre-season doesn't start of another 2 and a half months, and the season doesn't start for another 4 and a half months. o I have time to get where I need to be.
